Community Guidelines
PYE Markets is a place for traders to share honest analysis and prove their edge. These rules keep it trustworthy. Breaking them can get a post removed or an account suspended.
Do
- Share your own analysis, trade plans, reviews and lessons, and show your reasoning.
- Disclose your position: if you hold, or plan to trade, what you write about, say so.
- Show losses as well as wins. Selective results are misleading.
- Credit sources and label anything hypothetical or backtested as such.
Analysis, not signals
PYE Markets is a place to publish reasoning and build an honest record, not a signal service. So:
- Every post is locked and timestamped. You can correct a post for up to 15 minutes after publishing; after that, add a dated update instead. Attaching a scored setup is optional.
- A scored setup needs the argument behind it: at least 300 characters on why, what you are watching and the time frame, plus what would prove the idea wrong and your own position. One-line calls aren't published.
- Open setups stay inside their post. Ticker pages and feeds show reasoning and finished records, never a list of today's live calls. There is no copy-trading, no alerts on other members' trades and no "hot calls" list.
- No links to chat groups (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp) or paid groups, courses or "VIP" rooms in posts and comments.
- Every setup counts. Records show targets hit, stops hit and ideas that ran out of time, and deleting a post doesn't remove its setup from your record.
Don't
- Manipulate markets: no pump-and-dump, coordinated buying calls, or spreading false information to move a price.
- Give personalised advice or sell signals: don't tell specific people what to buy or sell, and don't promote paid signal groups, account management or "guaranteed returns".
- Fake results: no edited screenshots, invented track records, or claiming someone else's trades.
- Impersonate other traders, firms, or PYE Markets staff.
- Undisclosed promotion: if you're paid by, or earn referral fees from, something you write about, say so clearly in the post.
- Harassment, hate, spam, scam links, or illegal content.
Reporting
Signed-in members can use Report on any post, setup, comment or profile and pick the rule it breaks: signal selling or a call to action, a chat-group or promo link, a misleading performance claim, harassment, spam, or something else (with a short note). You can report an item once, and send up to 20 reports a day. Urgent? Email hello@proveyouredge.com with the link.
How moderation works
- Checked when you post. Chat-group links, signal selling and guaranteed-return claims are refused outright in posts, comments and profiles, and profiles can't claim P&L, payouts or "verified" results. Borderline wording is published but queued for a moderator to read.
- Read by a person. Every report and automatic flag goes to a moderation queue. A moderator dismisses it, hides the item, warns the member or suspends the account. If three established members report the same post or comment, it is hidden until a moderator reviews it.
- Hidden, not deleted. A hidden post or comment is replaced by a notice saying which guideline it broke. Its author still sees it, with the reason, and a moderator can restore it.
- The record stands. Hiding a post doesn't touch its scored setup: it keeps being scored and still counts in the author's record, so moderation can't be used to rewrite a track record.
- Suspensions. A suspended member is signed out and can't post, comment or use their keys. Their profile shows "This account is suspended".
- Appeals. The author of a hidden post or comment, or a suspended member (from the sign-in page), can appeal each decision once, in up to 500 characters. A moderator upholds it or reverses it; reversing restores the item or lifts the suspension. You see the outcome and the moderator's reply on the notice and in your account settings.
- Logged. Every decision, and every appeal outcome, is recorded with who made it, when and why.
- Your data. Your account export includes the reports and appeals you made, not reports made about you. Deleting your account deletes the reports and appeals you made.
