Terms of Use
These terms apply to everyone who reads, publishes on, or uses tools at proveyouredge.com ("PYE Markets", "we"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Information only, not advice
Everything on PYE Markets, including articles, market data, calculators, firm profiles and posts by community writers, is general information and education. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, futures contract, currency, crypto-asset or prop-firm evaluation. It does not take your situation into account. Speak to a licensed adviser before making financial decisions.
2. Trading risk
Trading futures, options, forex, CFDs and crypto involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. You can lose more than you put in. Past results, backtests and simulated results do not guarantee future results. Hypothetical or simulated performance has inherent limitations: it does not reflect real trading and is designed with hindsight.
3. CFTC Rule 4.41: hypothetical or simulated performance
Futures, options on futures, and leveraged perpetual derivatives trading contain substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Only risk capital—money that can be lost without jeopardizing one’s financial security or lifestyle—should be used for trading or purchasing evaluation challenges.
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, because the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under-or-over compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any evaluation or simulated funded account (XFA, PA, PRO, Sim-Funded) will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
4. Market data
Prices and volatility figures are delayed and come from third parties (for example Yahoo Finance, Cboe, Deribit, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and the CFTC). Each figure is labelled with its source. We work hard to keep them correct but can't guarantee they are complete, current or error-free. Don't rely on them to place trades. The data belongs to its providers and is shown here for reading only; you may not copy it in bulk or redistribute it.
5. Prop-firm information
Prop firms change prices and rules often. Every firm profile shows when we last checked it and links to the firm's own pages. Always confirm terms with the firm before you pay. If you represent a firm and see an error, email us and we'll review it promptly.
6. Your account and your posts
- You are responsible for what you publish. Only post content you have the right to share.
- You keep ownership of your posts. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, format and share them (including as share cards and previews) on PYE Markets and in our newsletters. You can download your posts and data from your account settings at any time.
- Your trade setups are scored automatically under our published scoring rules. A setup stays in your record even if you delete its post, so that records can't be edited. If you close your account, your posts, setups and personal data are deleted.
- You must follow our community guidelines. We may edit for formatting, label, hide or remove posts, and suspend accounts that break them.
- Community posts are the views of their authors, not of PYE Markets. A post appearing on the site does not mean we have checked or endorse it.
- Track-record or performance badges only appear where we have actually checked the underlying data, and each badge says what was checked.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use the site to break the law, mislead people, manipulate markets, send spam, scrape at scale, overload or attack our systems, or get around rate limits or security.
8. Links and affiliates
We link to third-party sites we don't control. If we ever earn a commission from a link, the link itself will say so, and it will not change how we present or order firms.
9. Liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including trading losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia) or other law that can't be excluded.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
